Another errand day

Yesterday was another errand day.  Took mom to the Dr, and her mamogram and exam were ok so the cancer is not back.  Good news.

My buppy boy is not sick, just picked on.  Good news.

One of my hens is really being plagued by one of the buppy boys.  Bad news  JW is not always around to protect her.  I believe it is time for them to go.

Muskett fell down the stairs this morning and seems to have sprained his bum leg.  Bad news.  It is not broken and there appears to be no other damage.  Good news.  I think he is just at the point that he is too old to be doing a lot of stairs anymore.

I hung a new garden gate and had to adjust one post and the fencing to accomodate it.  While I was doing that, I noticed I had a bunch of little amaranth plants coming up.  I'll never plant amaranth in the garden again.  It'll probably take me a few hours to pull them all up.  I also got a very late cuke from one of my old vines.

I have all of these feathers that I have collected and am trying to come up with a craft for them.  I also have lots of pinecones.  Here is what I put together.  This is just a rough mockup.
