The first picture I took (after letting the cockers out) was of the angel wings above my desk (long story)
my day is guided
After a nice soak in the tub, I got out to the garden at 8 am ready for action. I added a pint of kelp fertilizer to the injector system I put in yesterday and irrigated for 4 hours. I will see if my mater and pepper leaves green up. If so, I am ordering another injector for the other garden.
Then I commenced to weeding. I got the lettuce done the peas done and most of the herb garden done.
mucho bettero
If you compare this pic to one from a previous blog, you can see that it looks so much better. Still a little way to go though.
Took a break and got some baybay pics
lookit, I've got a tail now!
So much food, so little time
Then took time to pick the peas (bless my pea pickin little heart). There was a bunch!
today's winnings
I got a mix of snow peas and garden peas. I shelled (not the snow peas), blanched and froze same.
Then I took time to mess with JW...
Talk to the foot!
So, really, a good day.

I LOVE THE JW PIC! It's like you're about to stomp on him :D Also you're sage is beautiful! You should consider cutting and drying or pressing the blooms.
ReplyDeleteRooster and dumplings-what a poopyhead!
ReplyDeleteI have plans for the sage blooms. SEEDS for next year. Flowers are beautiful but ephemeral. Seeds are humble but eternal.
