Needless to say, not much done outside today. I did get one irrigation line buried, one row made and my watermelon seeds planted. I needed to transplant some peppers but since I don't have a fence to keep the cockers out, I'll have to do it tomorrow. I am going to put temporary roadside fencing up until I get my real chicken wire. I gotta, because they were scratching in part of the garden this morning.

My blueberry bushes have blooms now too. But they all look so pitiful. They haven't grown much since I planted them and they are all scragged out, but they are trying. I'll see if I can't give them some love this year since they will be next to my maters.

I also got some of my potatoes today and will put them next to the melons. The other potatoes will go in the old garden.
I made the cockers mad today cause I incarcerated them at noon due to the aforementioned storm. I happened to catch them all in there, which was a miracle, so I just shut the fence. I didn't want to go chasing down chickens in a tornado.

So it all worked out. The moon is now in the sky, the melon seeds are in the ground, the chickens are in the coop. And I'm all in for today.
