Caught with my proverbial pants down

OMG.  Time has just gotten away from me today.  I had to spend the day in Wilmington running errands like bank, hair cut, paint and caulk for the church shed.  When I got home I had to turn the irrigation on for the garden and bury my fence skirt for the fencing I have on the back forty.

the new garden

the solar powered pump irritator.  on off on off on off

Then I had to make tofu from the soy beans that I soaked two days ago.

After that walkies.  Got some more bug art, but I can't translate it.  Maybe a better eye than mine?

a hummingbird?

I feel like it's an insect version of the nasca lines.  I know they are trying to tell us something, but WHAT?  I don't even know what kind of bug is doing this.

Got back and the girls were demanding food from the porch, so I gave them some okara from the tofu project.

hand out please.
then dinner.  Now it's 8:15 and I am late with the blog.  And today is my TV night, CSI and The Mentalist.

My crazy days have officially done.

Tomorrow, picking strawberries for our organic farmer and the church shed.

Oh, and JW recited the theme from the good the bad and the ugly this evening.  I swear!!!!

Do Do Do Do Do, Do Do Do  (well, it's hard to write)

Then he popped me on the shin.

  1. Art-it's not to understand. It's to love. Consider the bugs view point-this is clearly the underbelly of Budman or your pant leg or the map of the round trip to Atkinson with slight detour for a Moonpie and Pepsi.

  2. The first thing to come to mind when I saw the picture of the bug art were the lines of Nazca...then I saw a reference to them mentioned right after the picture. This made me laugh :D
